I'd say there is too much grass on the bottom. OK! I'll try to improve my renders and I'll let you know when I'm done!įirst lets say that you have shown a lot of improvement ) and DO NOT FORGET to set high radiosity in rendering setting options! (saved my life:)) Now for all those n00bs like myself that are struggling with artlantis for those sexy soft shadows: The crucial tipp i got was Matthews', that is, technically speaking: I still have a lot to learn since I'm using artlantis for less than a month now. And the resaults are much better, as far as I'm concernd! Ok. Now comes the best part! This images above took me 30 seconds to render in artlantis and that is on a laptop computer that has only 256 Mb of ram!!! That is just unbelievable! (Maxwell render was done on an AMD athlon 64, 3.4 G and 1.5 GB RAM). Sent : : Yeah! It took me 16 hours only to render the image! The good thing with the maxwell render is that I didn't have to do anything but to push render button in archicad and that was it! But 16 hours is just to much for the resault I got! Please help me!Īnother house topic has some very very awsome renderings! How do you do this! Is the diference between inerior and exterior so bog!?!?!

Now you can see the diference between maxwell shadows (very soft, very real)and artlantis shadows (hard, to defined)! Anyways, I allready made up my mind! I just want to use artlantis! There must be a way to make it look better! There are 100 of images i saw that looked so real i couldn't tell the diference! So again i'll ask you: 'What am i doing wrong?!?!?!?'. The thing is, there are pictures in this gallery much better than the one i attached (i speak of maxwell render) not to mention the hell i went through to make it look like this.

I'd like you to take a look at the renderings that are attached above! One is rendered with maxwell (16 hours), the other with artlantis 1.2.2.!
