Very easy to get into compared to most other fighting games. Movement is simple, strings are often straight forward and a lot of what is happening is visually obvious once you know the basics (The basics being, you can sidestep away from verticals, duck under highs and jump lows. You block highs and mids with standing block, and lows with low block.) Mastering this game is a bottomless pit however. There's a very strong and consistent core audience, but the playerbase certainly is lacking compared to the big 3 fighting games. Dying is definitely too strong a word, if you queue ranked you will always find people to fight. Libra of souls is pretty long, so alongside chronicle of souls there's a lot of content.

But compared to older titles there's not too much variety in terms of single player. This game is the definition of easy to learn hard to master. I don't think a fighting game out there today exmplifiies this idea more than SC6. Going in and hitting buttons day one feels good and responsive, there's easily accessible strings and most inputs are straightforward (somewhat varies from character to character).
